June 2001, Moscow, International Conference, Bulgarian team of IADTDA published the Program for Healing, Rehabilitation, Social Re-adaptation "Drug Addicted People, Prevention and Propaganda", "Ecology and Art against Drugs".

September 2001, Sofia, International Conference "The New Balkans", organized by VLATADON - Peasce in Southeastern Europe, IADTDA team reports: "The role of the Church in the fight against drugs" as a part of the Program for the spiritual healing and psychological corrections.

2001, IADTDA establishes in Sofia the first International Center for Human Adaptation permanently open exposition, seminars and training about the drug problems.

2001, first Joint-Venture Company was set up with the Municipality of Maritza, Plovdiv, for construction of super modern greenhouses under Dutch know-how for implementation of IADTDA's Project Flowers Instead of Drugs.

October 2002, Sunny Beach Sea Resort, Bulgaria, The 3th Golden Amphora Balkan Film Festival for Children under the motto "The Child is Helpless Facing Drugs", IADTDA and the Children of the Balkan Foundation are the organizers. International Round Table "Cinema and TV to Protect Children from Drugs". Gala concert "Music Instead of Drugs", IADTDA gives award for anti-drug media product; it goes to the Bulgarian National Television.

February 2003, in co-operation with Municipality Committee against Anti-social Acts of Youths and Immature Person IADTDA initiated national contest "My World without Drugs and Violence" for best picture, posters, commixes, collages and graffiti amongst the 2nd- to 8th-grade students. It was a part of IADTDA's program "Music and Arts Instead of Drugs". Aqva Vita mineral water, an IADTDA's product of "Water Instead of Drugs" project, has been to the participants in all sub-contests.

May 2003, Pristine, Kosovo, IADTDA was the chief sponsor of an international conference The New Methods in the Fight against Drug Dependence & Drug Addiction. A large forum of xperts and diplomats attended.

May, August, December,2003 Sofia, Plovdiv and Varna, Bulgaria, mutual undertaking in three sessions with Joker Media made a start with lay of beginning Balkan movement "Music against Drugs" by series of jazz concerts with participation of Bulgarian trio T. Spassov, S. Yankulov & A. Dimitrov; Vladko Stefanovski with trio Macedonia; and the Russian trio of Sergey Manukian in the first session; of singer band Caffe, Slang, Grapha, etc. in the second session; and finally the sessions ended by two great concerts in Sofia and Skopje of Balshoy Theater's Three Tenors, by the support of Ministry of Culture of Bulgaria and Bulgaria - Russia Fund.

September 2005, IADTDA’s Permanent Repre-sentative in the UN, Mr. Ronald Brinn participated in session of the United Nations Department of Public Information and Non-Governmental Organizations, (UN DPI/NGO) in New York. Preparation to the International Council on Alkohol and Addictions, ICAA Conference in Budapest, Hungary 23-28 October, 2005.

April 2006 - IADTDA’s representatives participated in the 15th Session of UN Drug and Crime Commission 23-28 April 2006 at Vienna. The IADTDA’s statement on 25 April to the Commission was that the Association recommends the establishment of regional pilot programs for asset confiscation of illicit proceeds and laundered monies from organized crime groups, corrupt government and corporate officials, and financial institutions with links to terrorist groups. The Bangkok Declaration calls for the operationalization of the confiscations and repatriation statutes in the Palermo Conventions and subsequent treaties, and this would go a long way toward reducing drugs-crime-terror activities, and provide much needed resources to achieve the synergy and outcomes objectives of the UNODC and the international community.

May 2006 - On 12 of May 2006, IADTDA called a General Assembly meeting, which took place in International center for Human Adaptation (Trivia Antique Hotel). Mr. Roumen Boyadjiev, Executive Director of IADTDA, Boyadjiev made a Summary Report on IADTDA activities during the last five years. Mr. Boyadjiev put main accents on the severity of the problems in the region: Balkans suffer from high levels of crime, drug trafficking, and drug abuse. He reiterated a call for renewed intra-agency cooperation to deal with these problems. He also pointed the need of strategic alliances and public support to legal business initiatives and to IADTDA Development Program in particular. Mr. Boyadjiev stated that the development of banking and commerce could have a favourable impact on the future development of different kinds of programs aimed drug fighting. On the other hand, the continuing prevalence of fraud, money laundering and corruption, if it not tackled, will cause problems even more serious in these relations.

The General Assembly elected new Board of Directors and Mr. Raymond E. Kendall, Honorary Secretary General of INTERPOL as Honorary Chairman of IADTDA.

The General Assembly accepted the status of the Vita Rasa Order Award, which is being presented to nationally and internationally known personalities for their exceptional contribution in fighting drug abuse and drug trafficking, successful solving of drug related issues and popularizing of healthy way of life. IADTDA awarded Mr. Raymond Kendall, Honorary Secretary General of INTERPOL with the Vita Rasa Order and announced its nominations for year 2006 as follows:
      - H.M. the Queen Beatrix of Netherlands
      - H.M. the King Phumiphon of Thailand
      - Mr. Thaksin Shinawatra, Prime Minister of Thailand.

2006 – IADTDA joined the International Money Laundering Information Network (IMoLIN), with its Anti-Money Laundering International Database (AMLID), an Internet-based network assisting governments, organizations, and individuals in the fight against money laundering www.imolin.org.

March 2007 – IADTDA representatives participated in the Commission on Narcotic Drugs, CND UNODC, Vienna, Austria. The Association presented its Lost Souls Memorial Project, which idea is to build a series of monuments/memorials in different cities around the world, at the places where there is a drugs spreading, in memory of drug victims and where their relatives of all races and religions can pray for their lost souls, leave pictures, names, candles and other signs. The memorial is in honor of the people who dedicated their lives to the fight against the most dangerous enemy of the humanity – drugs.

The IADTDA’s Executive Director, Mr. Roumen Boyadjiev, handed in an open letter to the Libyan representative with appeal to free Bulgarian medics that have been wrongly convicted to a death penalty, which was a part of the international campaign “You Are Not Alone” that supported the foreign medics.

May 2007 - IADTDA has shared innovative business strategies with the UNODC,UNDP, WHO and presented at the ECOSOC, DESA, Office of the President of the General Assembly, Preliminary Innovations Fair Meeting at UN-HQ New York on 2 May, 2007. IADTDA was one of four NGO that have been officially invited to that event.

IADTDA has developed a range of business products and services aimed at generating legitimate income and economic opportunities as a viable alternative to illicit and criminal activities. Investing in local and global business, an partnering with members worldwide, the IADTDA has developed a network of pathways leading out of the poverty of addictions. The IADTDA implements Nano-Tech Embed System for fool-proof laser authentication of all currencies and commodities.

2007 - IADTDA representatives took part and made a presentation of the current projects and  Success Story at the Innovations Fair of the Annual Ministerial Review “Strengthening efforts to eradicate poverty and hunger, through the global partnership for development”of the UN Economic and Social Council on Progress in meeting the Millennium Development Goals at UN-HQ, and UN Geneva, Switzerland. IADTDA also participated in the UN Global Compact sessions Round-Tables on Joining NGO’s, business and UN agencies in anti corruption efforts.  The Association’s representatives met with Mr. Ban Ki-moon, UN Secretary General, HH Sheikh Khalifa Bin Salman Al Khalifa, Prime Minister of Bahrain, HH Hassan, Prince of Jordan, and other officials.

August 2007 – IADTDA joined the United Nations Global Compact - an international initiative that brings companies together with UN agencies, labor and civil society to support universal environmental and social principles.

2, 2008 - Mr. Ronald B. Brinn, the IADTDA Permanent Representative at UN –HQ participated in the General Assembly Debate on the MDG's 2015.

March - a delegation of the IADTDA and the Eurasian Antiterrorist Center, fighting Drug Trafficking and Counterfeit visited Kabul, Afghanistan for situation assessment and had meetings with official authorities from Ministry of defense of Afghanistan.

December 16th, 2008 - George-Mark Raynoff published in Bulgarian his new fifth book: "To be a Human" with thoughts on The Economic Like a Heart of the State of Art of Ruling and Governing. The book follows   "Free Man-Discussion that never happened" and "Economy and Moral".

The Award was proposed by Vita Raza "I-st degree to be awarded Fidel Castro for his contributions in the fight against drugs, and promotion of clean, healthy life in Cuba and the world as the undisputed leader of state, popular leader and a major global history personality.
On this occasion IADTDA delegation visited Cuba.

At the invitation of A. M. Costa, Director of UNODC, IADTDA participate in the 52 th session of the United Nations on Drugs and senior segment with more than 1400 delegates from 130 countries and organizations.
The U.S. delegation showed "the new face” of an Obama's administration. Were shared achievements of American NGOs, supported by the federal government, CADCA-community anti-drug coalitions in America, including more than 5000 communities, chaired by Gen.mayor Arthur Dean, a veteran of the U.S. Army.

 

 

 

At the U.S. Ambassador in UN Vienna George Schulte reception invite international NGOs at his residence by demonstrating the readiness of the new administration to take ideas and best prac-tices from those, working directly against drugs among people in the world.

At a meeting of NGOs, led by David Turner, Pres. of the Vienna of the UN  Committee of NGOs, Rou-men Boyadjiev made a brief statement, approved the new policy for the mobilization of NGOs (offered by IADTDA 5 years ago).

March 2010 In the gallery of the National Arts Academy within the program Art Against Drugs was presented the exhibition of artists from Turkey, called "21 Artists of 21 Century”. It is organized on the initiative of one of the most famous Turkish artists Prof. Devrim Erbil and includes pictures of different generations of authors studied in his atelier. This significant cultural event was supported by the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Sofia, and Bulgarian Academy of Science. Speeches of Prof. Devrim Erbil, Dean of The National Arts Academy, Prof. S. Kokalov, the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey in Bulgaria, Mr. Mehmet Gücük and Mr. Roumen Boyadjiev, explaining that the need to seek alternative measures to address problems with drug addiction internationally, challenge to all with the idea for an upcoming exhibition, the 21 Bulgarian artists in Turkey.

with main objectives:
• To promote the development and strengthening of international cooperation and exchange information in culture, education in social sphere.
• To encourage and support efforts of civil society aimed at creating and promoting tolerant and human relations among representatives of different nations, based on the common recognition of international and national civil rights legislation.
• To promote the protection of constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens, in direct cooperation with other NGOs, governmental institutions and individuals.

• IADTDA signed a cooperation agreement with "CAD-ITALIA" - Center for hearing problems and free association of individuals wishing to contribute their actions and their commitment to social development in the country; Promotes the development and social policy with concrete action of the citizens for the real needs of people.

• The main purpose of "CAD - ITALIA" is to protect and assist people who have been deprived of fundamental civil rights equality. Re-integration into social life, enrich their personal knowledge, support cultural, artistic or scientific research and studies, including providing scholarships and prizes for research, seminars and training courses. October 18 - 22, 2010. IADTDA delegation participated at the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime Fifth session in Vienna, 20 October 2010 - During a meeting with non-governmental organizations, Yury Fedotov, UNODC Executive Director, expressed his deep appreciation for the role that civil society organizations play on the frontlines of the fight against transnational organized crime and for the support that they extend to its victims. Under the patronage of the Prime Minister of Bulgaria, IADTDA , Women’s Lions Club Diamond and Military Club Agency organized Charity Christmas BALL of The Central Military Club Sofia. At the resurrection of traditional Officer’s Ball, committed to the charitable cause - to help children of soldiers died in the performance of their patriotic duty were presented The Minister of Defense Gen. Anyu Angelov, Mayor of Triaditsa District Mr. Evtim Evtimov and many Miss Bulgaria. Sculpture and paintings of famous Bulgarian artists were donated to be sold for fund raising of the event.

 February, 2011. “Sports against drugs”. Cuban Amba-ssador in Bulgaria, Teresita Capote and R. Boyadjiev were hosts of the Cuban national Boxing team in the international center for human adaptation of IADTDA, Trivia, Sofia, after the championship in Bulgaria and Hungary.

 

May, 6th. 2011. Sofia. UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon at the Global Compact Bulgaria official launch meeting, spoke to Bulgarian members of the initiative. IADTDA was one of the first Organizations who joined the network.

  

June, 2nd, 2011. Sofia. IADTDA supports Bulgarian Federation of Strong Athletes “Iron Man” and started
joined campaign: “Strongmen against Drugs” with a set of international challenges, and new records.

  

June, 4th, 2011. Sofia, Rainbow Plaza, Charity Italian Ball. The funds raised from the gala dinner were donated to
